Sports Physiotherapy where we look at specific tasks and compare your abilities to your unaffected side and that of your peers, as laid out in the latest research. This stage must be passed before progressing on to a more demanding portion of the rehabilitation.

    2. Plyometric testing:

Sports Physiotherapy here, we use a series of well documented tests which give reliable data on rate of re-injury and readiness to return to training.

    3. Sport simulation:

These will be the final stage of your rehabilitation, where we test your ability to withstand greater forces with a view to full return to training and your sport.

Digital Dynamometry:

By providing the ability to make precise measurements of muscle force, the digital dynamometer allows us to assess and monitor ongoing progress. It allows us to give more accurate feedback, enabling us to provide a more scientific and meticulous patient care.

  • This is used to assess Limb strength and compare it to your unaffected side to get a limb strength symmetry percentage. The aim should always be between 90-95% of the unaffected side.
  • Accurate within 1% of the reading

Extensive research into injury prevention and recovery from injuries such as ACL rupture and Tendinopathy has shown the importance of Limb symmetry. This is yet another expert tool we can offer you in your guidance towards full recovery.
